Anyone interested in brass composition, filmscore composition, or composing in general should definitely check out some of the old fantasy/adventure films of the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I saw "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" (1974 - filmscore by Miklos Rozsa) recently - some amazing writing, and great playing on that film!

Try to find the movie, or any of the old Sinbad films. They're available online if you know where to look.
