Post free music notation software

Thought I'd give a heads up about a free music notation program (for PC and Mac).

It's called Lime Music Notation Software, and is made by CerlSound: http://www.cerlsoundgroup.org/main.html

Has anyone heard of it before?

I've been using it since the late 1990's. It's fairly powerful, gives professional looking results (once you've figured out how to use it), and can be a great free alternative to the bigger packages on the market.

You can use Lime for a certain length of time before having to pay a one-off registration fee (which I did, many years ago).

You can check out a very simple sample page here: http://brassmusician.com/high-notes-low-notes-and-everything-in-between/about-the-course/#modules

Occasionally though, it doesn't seem completely stable (on a PC running XP Professional SP3), but I tend to just save often, which avoids any problems when it does crash (which is rarely).

Another free software is "MuseScore", which runs on PC, Mac and Linux.
You can download it from http://musescore.org/
From what I've seen, it tends to look like a more traditional engraving.
