We are saddened to hear of another loss to the brass community; it has been a year of losses, however, their character, lessons, performances and recordings will stay with us. Nigel, 3rd trumpet for the LSO, has left us after his hard battle with cancer.

(L) Maurice Murphy (passed away on 28th October last year), (R) Nigel Gomm (passed away on 31st October this year).
